Adventure appetizer! 48 amusingly busy hours in NYC. We stayed in Manhattan and did the touristy things: walks through Central Park, the American Museum of Natural History to visit a multitude of dinosaurs, and MoMA (specifically to see H’s favorite painting – Stary Night). The family got thoroughly saturated running 25 blocks through a crazy thunderstorm while our rain gear stayed nice and dry back at the hotel. We also enjoyed some fantastic street food, and celebrated perhaps our greatest accomplishment – navigating the crowded NYC subway system with all of our belongings. We definitely got some interesting comments from passersby – wondering where we were planning to camp in central Manhattan!
